Hazard fires Chelsea to top spot with hat-trick

Eden Hazard's hat-trick against Newcastle, sent Chelsea to the top of the English Premier League table.

An early slip from Arsenal, who went down 5-1 to Liverpool, meant that Chelsea's 3-0 win over Newcastle was enough to secure them top spot.

Hazard netted two goals in the first half before converting a penalty in the second half. The Blues winning the match comfortably.

Manchester City who lost to Chelsea earlier this week, failed to  capitalize on Arsenal's slip as they were held to a goalless draw at Norwich City.

Chelsea lead the pack with 56 points, follow by Arsenal with 55 points; Man City with 54 points and Liverpool with 50 points to complete the top four.
